The Valleys and Vale Neighbourhood Watch Association was formed in 2000 by local co-ordinators who wanted to promote and support Neighbourhood Watch throughout the Stroud District Council area.

This is a voluntary emergency information scheme. The scheme provides Emergency Services Staff with vital details of any illness or allergy or someone to contact should they be called to the home of anyone as a result of sudden illness or personal accident.

The Valleys and Vale Neighbourhood Watch Association is co-terminus with the Stroud Police division and the Stroud District Council area, which is mostly rural in nature with large population centres in the towns of Stroud, Stonehouse and Dursley.
